I bought this holster for my Glock 17 with a Trijicon RMR and Streamlight TLR-1. The holster is made with strong material and holds the weapon close to your body. Retention is good and the draw is quick. Recommend this holster but the belt loops need to come with 1.75" option. All my riggers belts are 1.75 I am not interested in the snap loops based on the reviews. Would love a paddle attachment option similar to Bravo Concealments Paddle attachment. Besides that its a great holster
Perun OWB Holster fits Glock with TLR1HL
The Perun LC is our flagship outside-the-waistband (OWB), light-compatible holster. It is the result of blending the best features of two of our most popular holsters, the Eidolon and the Phantom, to create a highly refined, exceptionally concealable holster.
The Perun LC is designed to be the best light-compatible, modular OWB “pancake” style holster on the market. It has a body-hugging design that rides high for maximum concealment. The body of the holster is only slightly larger than the pistol and light contained in it. This small size aids in concealment while also making the holster more comfortable while seated in a vehicle.
The body-hugging curvature of this holster is accomplished using modular belt loops. Each holster includes three pair of 1.5” belt loops (LH 10 degree cant, RH 10 degree cant, and ambi 0 degree cant), which allow the end-user to configure the ambidextrous holster body for left-handed or right-handed use, with either a 0-degree or 10-degree cant.
Retention in the Perun is crisp, defined, and consistent, thanks to innovative design features inside the holster body. The unique retention slider makes adjusting retention as simple as turning up the volume on your stereo. And unlike other holsters that use the traditional “screw through a rubber grommet” style of retention, the Perun LC’s retention will not back off after repeated drawing and re-holstering.
The Perun is compatible with most slide-mounted red-dot optics (like the Aimpoint T-1, Trijicon RMR, etc.) and accommodates suppressor-height front sights up to .350” tall. It is also fully compatible with the RCS Balor optic mount. The Perun LC fits Glock generation 3-5 9mm/.40S&W/.357 pistols (up to G34/35 length slide) with a Streamlight TLR-1HL weapon light attached. For example, this holster will accommodate a G19, G17, or G34 with the Streamlight TLR-1HL weapon light mounted on it.
The muzzle-end of the holster is rounded for comfort, and has an opening sufficient to accommodate most common after-market extended and threaded barrels (with thread protectors). The opening at the muzzle is also specifically designed to allow foreign objects (like spent casings) to drop out the bottom so that nothing can block your pistol from being safely re-holstered.
The ambidextrous holster body has both inboard and outboard full-height body shields. These body shields offer some protection for your pistol from sweat, as well as protecting your skin and cover garments (especially the thin material used for linings in sport coats and suit jackets) from being abraded by the serrations on the rear of the slide. They also enhance safety by helping keep cover garments and other foreign objects from falling into the mouth of the holster while you have your pistol drawn, and aid in proper, safe muzzle orientation during re-holstering.
The holster is injection molded from a proprietary, extremely high-strength polymer blend that is significantly more durable than Kydex or Boltaron. Like all RCS products, it is made in the USA, and is backed by our lifetime warranty.
PLEASE NOTE: .40 S&W and .357 Sig are calibers of ammunition. This Perun will fit GLOCK pistols chambered in either of those two calibers. Do not order this holster thinking it will accommodate a Sig or S&W pistol, simply because those words are part of the name of a caliber. It is a holster that fits a Glock pistol and will not accommodate a S&W or Sig pistol.
I have a Glock 17 & 23 that I run a Streamlight tlr1 on. I was looking for an owb pancake style holster. That has proved to be quite impossible to find. I will admit I am not a fan of plastic. I was looking for a leather unit. I ordered evey single leather unit I could get my hands on. Every single one was massive and looked like I had a fanny pack under my shirt. I realized I would have to consider a kydex type. I ordered just as many of those or more to no avail. EVERYTHING on the market suffers from being overly and unnecessarily large to poor quality or poor retention or poor fit. This search has been VERY frustrating having ordered over 20 different holsters and being no closer to finding a quality product than when I started. Enter Raven, I had never heard of this company before but was giving anything I could a chance. My search was FINALLY OVER!!! This holster rides high and very close to the body which is a must for control. The retention is adjustable so you can find a level that suits you. The material is solid and sturdy.. Its not a mammoth unit like most. It's about as streamlined as you'll find for a light bearing unit. Do yourself a favor, skip all three others, give Raven just a chance, I bet they'll win you over as they did me.
Really like this holster, the best so far and I’ve had a few. For lefties it seems options are limited. Wish there were larger belt loops available. I’m sure I can rig something up but it would be a perfect set up if there were >1.5” options or a slotted back plate. I would recommend this holster the fit and finish are excellent Editor's note: Thank you for your review. You might want to check out our Perun quick mount straps. They are adjustable to a 1.75' belt. https://rcsgear.com/qms-adaptor-kit-for-perun-0-degree
Like the holster, just wish they gave the option for 1.75 in built in belt loops instead of buying more parts to make it work with thicker belts.
I bought this holster for my Glock 45 which will be outfitted with a Trijicon RMR and Streamlight TLR-1. The holster is well made, high quality and holds the weapon close to your body. Retention is good and the draw is quick. Highly recommended and good price point.
My complaints are that it is longer than it seems to need to be. Also that it's really difficult to put on(or take off) with a decently stiff belt. Once it's on its on though. Really good retention adjustment as well. Stays tight against the body so it's good for OWB concealment (minus the length.)
This is a nice holster for out of the waistband concealment. It would be nice if they opened up the trigger guard area so that you can get your fingers around the handle better . but It is nice working with the unity clutch system . https://www.unitytactical.com/product/clutch-belt/
I bought this holster to accommodate my glock 45 Gen 5 MOS configured with a Streamlight TLR-1 HL. When first trying this holster, I couldn't draw at all. When I finally did get the gun out of the holster, I noticed the rubber battery seal o-ring on my Streamlight was curled over the side of the light. I manually tried to fix this and after awhile I did and attempted another draw from the holster. Again it stuck. Again the streamlight o-ring was curled over the side. Finally, I remembered the retention screw (duh). Once I loosened that all the way, the firearm drew fine from the holster. Lesson learned. I wound up having to send the streamlight in for warranty repair though because I could not reset the o-ring. Overall I'm very pleased with the holster. If you're using this for concealed carry, note the holster is long to support the G17 and G34 slide/barrel length. If that's not a problem, you'll love this holster. This goes nicely with my Eidolon IWB holster. I'm a huge fan of Raven Concealment Systems quality. Excellent product, and excellent retention.
I received the holster in a very nice package that included spare parts, stickers, and instructions. The holster itself is very well made and holds the pistol with a lot of retention. I feel confident that the product will last and protect the pistol for years to come. The holster fits the pistol/light combo very well and is not any larger or longer than needs to be. I am very happy with the product.
Best OWB I’ve had. Way smaller footprint than the phantom. Like another reviewer said, it seems to be about half an inch longer than it needs to be. Which is a pretty critical measurement to be long on if you’re trying to conceal it, so a tighter fit there and it would’ve been perfect. And in case you were thinking about it, you cant effectively dremel away the excess. I’m so impressed with it otherwise though that I intend to get the non-light model and see if I can’t do more summer time OWB.
